‘I’ll Be There’ is a music video created for Irish band The Riptide Movement.
It follows the story of an over-worked, uninspired average-Joe who, one day, creates a cardboard world on his desk.

as a live-action / animated cross-over ‘I’ll be there’ took me well out of my comfort zone.
I was lucky to have the very talented and very patient dona wade as our dop for the shoot in belfast,
who also doubled as my live-action guide during my first time directing on set.
alongside a brilliant cast and crew we had a small team of compositors who were responsible
for creating the 2d world and so with a tight turn-around for production as a whole we decided
to go for a fun, lo-fi feeling to the animated characters and tiny, cardboard backdrops.
