Created by Hannah Jacobs and Victoria Manifold, Mystery Soup is a surreal detective comedy
that follows the adventures of three plucky thirteen-year-old girls investigating their
weird new boarding school and the bizarre goings-on that occur there.

While working with JAM Media, I was commissioned to write and direct a pilot trailer for Mystery Soup,
the winning series pitch of BBC’s Anim8 programme 2017.
This involved collaborating with creators Hannah, Victoria and BBC Worldwide on the further development
of the Mystery Soup series, during which time I reviewed and contributed to three episodic scripts,
translated their original pitch designs into 2D animation rigs, and directed an accompanying
pilot-trailer as part of their final delivery to BBC.
